Housing and Disability Assessment

GO Health Services can provide an experienced Housing and Disability Assessment service to external clients.

We currently provide an appeal assessment service for Moray Council Housing and in the past have provided housing and disability services for Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council over many years which included:

  • Medical assessments performed for Blue Badge Appeals. This involves a medical assessment by a qualified Occupational Health Physician or Nurse.
  • Medical assessments for Housing Points Assessments. GO Health Services are equipped to deal with a high volume of housing medical assessments each year. Medical housing points awarded as part of formula for priority mainstream, sheltered and very sheltered housing. Urgent homeless medical assessments can also be made.
  • Medical recommendations made for inclusion in Garden Maintenance schemes. People with significant ongoing functional disability can be aided in keeping their lawns, hedges and general gardening with inclusion in these schemes.
  • Advice given on change of heating priority for medical reasons, together with property improvement grants; which are urgently required for medical reasons.
